William Herring

William "Willie" Herring, 57, of Granbury, Texas, passed away Thursday, September 7, 2017 in Granbury.
Willie was a native of Gulfport and had been a resident of Granbury for the past 12 years. Willie was a heavy equipment operator and as part of his job, he traveled the country. He was an avid fisherman, and when he wasn't working, he would be fishing. He also enjoyed music, dancing and anything outdoors.
Willie was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Winnell Herring and his brother, George Herring.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Lape; daughter, Tara Herring; granddaughter, Destiny; his siblings, Judy Carver (John), James Herring, Joseph Herring (Sue), Mary Jackson (Dennis), Janey Bradford (Bobby), Luann Herring and Robert Herring (Sandy); and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held at Coalville Cemetery.
