William ""Bill"" C. Hagan, Jr. passed away peacefully at home on December 7, 2012, following a long illness.
Bill was born in Chicago, Illinois on June 1, 1932, to William Corley and Margaret Farry Hagan. Bill grew up in Chicago and attended Campion Jesuit High School and Illinois Benedictine University.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Robert E. Hagan and his brother-in-law, Leonard Lewis.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Edith Call Hagan; and their children, Kathleen, Diane (Marty Searcy), Corley (James Fogerty), William, and Robert T.; fond ""Papa"" of Stephanie and Brian Fogerty and Devin, Alison, and Liam Hagan; Bill is also survived by his sister, Cheri Lewis and his sister-in-law, Mary Hagan. Bill and Edith retired to Diamondhead in 1992.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 11, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, where family and friends may visit one hour prior to the service. A memorial service will be held in Chicago in January.
