William Clark

William Hass “Billy” Clark, age 66 of Gulfport, MS went to our Lord and Savior on October 26, 2022.

Billy was born on October 21, 1956, in Vicksburg, MS to Henry Clark and Bessie Lue (Harsson) Stewart.

He was a graduate of Council Magnolia High School, Jackson, MS in 1974, where he was voted Mr. Junior & Senior Class. Billy played football and basketball throughout his school years. His love of sports continued in life. Billy was a die-hard Mississippi State Bulldog and New Orleans Saints fan, pool player and fisherman. Billy also served in the U.S. Navy and achieved numerous awards and honors.

He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Bessie Lue (Harsson) Stewart; sister, Pam Clark Hester; Uncle Julius & Aunt Judy Griffth, Aunt Judy Roberts; and grandmother, Dorothy Harsson.

Billy is survived by his daughter, Adrienne Clark (Steve Booth) of Byram, MS; three beautiful grandchildren, Mason, MacKinzee & Jackson; sister, Vicki (Stanton) Murray of Vancleave, MS; beloved niece, Dee (Hester) Schmelzer and Austin Schmelzer of Vancleave, MS; and many more beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, November 9th, 2022, at Moses Pier, Jones Park Gulfport, MS at 3:00 pm.
