William ""Bill"" Entriken, age 74, of Biloxi, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 14, 2012, surrounded by his wife and boys. Bill was a man of strong Christian faith who loved Jesus Christ his Lord and Savior and devout Catholic who loved Our Lady of Fatima Church. Bill had a servant's heart volunteering with St. Vincent DePaul including a committee that set up delivery of medications for the poor, an active member in the Cursillo movement in South Mississippi, member of the Holy Name Society, and Knights of Columbus. Bill served nine years in the United States Air Force and ended his career at Ingalls Shipbuilding after 20 plus years of dedicated service. Bill loved coaching his sons in sports and in life. Originally from Philadelphia, PA, he loved following his Eagles and Phillies.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Mary Entriken, his sister Loretta Entriken, and his beloved in-laws, Biser and Wilma Smith. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Rachel Entriken, his three sons William Jr. (Karen), Michael (Natalie), and Christopher (Debra), and six grandchildren, Shelbey, Conner, Ashlyn, Colby, Evan, and Aden.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Vincent DePaul Society, c/o Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.
Friends and family are invited to attend Bill's funeral ceremony at 1:30PM, Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Our Lady of Fatima Church. Family visitation will begin at the church at 11:30AM the same day followed by friends' visitation at 12:00PM. Graveside service will be immediately following at Smith Cemetery in Steep Hollow, MS. RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Gulfport assisted the family with arrangements.
