William J. Case

William "Bill" J. Case, age 70, of Diamondhead, Mississippi, formerly of Hoffman Estates, Illinois, passed away peacefully. Bill was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, loyal brother, and treasured friend whose kindness, humor, and unwavering love for his family will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Born in Chicago, Illinois, Bill was a graduate of Wheeling High School. He enjoyed a successful career as an electrician with Wheeling Electric-Company before later serving as a Service Manager with Kee Business Systems. Bill relocated to Diamondhead, MS. and worked with Diamondhead Country Club with the Golf Course Maintenance Dept. Throughout his career, he was recognized for his electrical apprenticeship, technology skills in office and computer equipment, and business management experience.

Bill had a passion for the simple joys of life. He loved spending time on the golf course, camping, cheering on the Chicago Cubs, the Chicago Bears, and the New Orleans Saints. He was a faithful member of Old Town Presbyterian Church in Bay St. Louis. Above all, his greatest joy was the time he spent with his family.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Genevieve A. "Jean" Case Ehret; his father, Gilbert N. Case; his brother, Gibby Case; his sister, Karen Case Rickerson; and his brothers-in-law, Patrick Valentine and Billy Veternik.

Bill leaves behind his beloved wife of 49 years, Kimberly Case; his sons, Christopher Case and Kevin Case (Lisa); his siblings, Linda (Ray) Davis, Michael (Sharon) Case, Pat (John) Hermanowicz, Kathy Veternik, Carol Case, Mary Stanley (Scott), Sue Valentine, and Marian (Rich) Koenig; Pete Rickerson - brother-in-law, his grandchildren, Christian Case, Madelyn Case, and Mila Case; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Bill, you had me with your smile, hook, line, and sinker. Thank you for our incredible life and the family we made together. I'm so glad I got to "Make It With You". Go be with God, rejoice until we meet again. Your loving wife.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Old Town Presbyterian Church, 114 Ulman Avenue, Bay St. Louis, MS 39520.

A second funeral service will be held in Illinois at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Association, The Parkinson's Foundation, or the National Kidney Foundation in Bill's memory.
