William Palmer "Billy" Frommeyer, III, age 63, of Gulfport, passed away on November 1, 2024.
He was preceded in death by his father, William P. Frommeyer, Jr.; sister, RoseAnne Frommeyer; in laws, Johnnie & Betty Fayard; and Uncle Dr. William Bradford.
Billy is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Alicia Fayard Frommeyer; mother, Margo (Don) Smith; children, Katie Frommeyer, Quinn Frommeyer, and Sophie Frommeyer; siblings, Sharon (Ricky) Bissonnette, Gerard (Dawn) Frommeyer, Jan (Robert)Smith, Aaron Frommeyer, Rachel Frommeyer; in laws, Johnny (Tanya) Fayard, Janet McDonald, and Sandra (Klaus) Jeschke; grandchildren, Chandler Dixon and Jett Taylor; nieces and nephews; godmother, Mary Anne Treuill; god children, Juliana Smith and Jamie Aguda; and his lap cats, Daisy and Nellie.
Billy was proud graduate of Bay High School, where his flair for fashion earned him the title of "Mr. Best Dressed" in the Class of 1979. Billy dedicated an impressive 43 years of his professional life to Mississippi Coast Supply. A devoted member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Billy’s spirit of faith was central to his life. He was part of the Cursillo 158 group and enjoyed the deep connections formed within his church community. He cherished moments spent fishing, walking the beach, and feeding seagulls. A devout supporter of the New Orleans Saints, he was always ready to cheer for his team. His love of rock n' roll music—particularly the louder, the better—was a defining characteristic.
Visitation will be on Thursday, November 7, 2024, from 10 am - 12 pm at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Gulfport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 noon in the church. Interment will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Vincent de Paul Society, 2414 17th Street, Gulfport, MS 39501.
