Captain William Christopher “Kit” Alley passed away on November 12, 2023, in Gulfport, MS, at the age of 60.
He was born June 28, 1963, in Ashland, KY and resided in Gulfport, MS.
Kit was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Windland Martin; and his biological mother, Norma Jean Adkins.
He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Tina Wise Alley; his father, William H. Alley (Rochella); his children, Brandy DeSilvey-Page (Jason), Nathan Bostwick and Crystal Alley; his siblings, Rebecca Webster (Rodger); his niece’s, Jackie, Kym Edwards (Les), Lisa Crase (Ben) and Jonda Vaughn (Bill); his grandchildren, Savannah Ellis, Kristopher Johnson, Ty Bostwick, Raylynn Page and Kyndall Bostwick; his great grandchild, Ezra Ellis.
Kit’s educational achievements are High School Diploma and United States Coast Guard license to U.S. Merchant Marine Officer.
Kit started his career on the water working as a deckhand on the Mississippi River. He traveled to the Grand Banks of Newfoundland as a Sword Fisherman for many years, then in 2000 he received his license as a Boat Captain working on the Gulf of Mexico. 
Kit was outgoing and free-spirited with many talents who enjoyed walks on the beach, watching the sunsets, spending time with family, cross word puzzles, fishing, chess, building things with his hands, cooking, drinking coffee on the back porch while discussing current events with his wife, loved all genres of music with his favorite artists being Van Morrison and John Prine, telling jokes, gardening, and loved to watch and root for his favorite football team, New Orleans Saints.
