Willard Thompson Walraven, Jr. age 59, passed away Friday, December 29, 2017.
He was preceded in death by his parents Willard and Betty Walraven.
Willard is survived by his wife of 35 years, Glenda Walraven; one daughter, Tiffany (Darryl) Dukes; four step-children, Loretta (Paul) Ely, Debbie Waltman, AJ (Tina) Richey, Melvin (Brittany) Richey; three grandchildren, Alanha, Andrew and Brandon Dukes; eleven step-grandchildren; thirteen step great grandchildren; and three brothers.
Mr. Walraven spent most of his life as a civil service engineer at Keesler Air Force Base. He loved his family with all his heart and watching his grandchildren play sports and perform brought him much joy. "Junior" loved to travel and would often take his family on spur of the moment surprise trips. He loved to watch the face of his grandbabies as they experienced new place and adventures. He enjoyed running around playing nerf guns and teaching them to play ball. He will be missed exponentially.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 6:30 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd at Washington Ave, West Jackson County with a visitation for family and friends from 5:30 PM until the service.
