Willa Mae Phelps

Willa Mae ""Bo-Bo"" Phelps, of Gulfport, MS, passed away on January 13, 2013, at the age of 64, in Gulfport, due to natural causes.
Willa Mae was born in Gulfport on May 24, 1948 to Vardaman B. and Willie C. Phelps. She was born with Down's Syndrome and was taken care of by her loving mother for her entire life. She had four sisters (Emma Lee, Marlene, Janet, Audrey, and Mary Ann) and three brothers (Buddy, Wallace, and Richard).
Willa Mae is survived by her mother, Willie C. Phelps of Gulfport, MS; and siblings, Janet Ishee of Bay St. Louis, MS, Henry Wallace Phelps, Sr. of Lucedale, MS, and Mary Ann Wharton of St. Joseph, MO; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her father, Vardaman B. Phelps; and siblings, Marlene Gibson, Emma Lee Mills, Buddy Phelps, Richard Phelps, and Audrey Hunt.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 16, 2013, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, from 1:30-3:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
She will be laid to rest at Finley Cemetery in Gulfport.
