Wilbon Ladner, age 81, of Gulfport passed away on Friday, August 5, 2016 in Gulfport, MS.
Wilbon was a truck driver for 35 years and retired from Fayard's Trucking in 1991.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Celina Ladner; one sister, Velina Niolet; five brothers, Edward Ladner, Houston Ladner, Buster Ladner, Avan Ladner, Everette Ladner.
Wilbon is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Sharon Ladner; daughter, Lisa Miller of Vidor, TX; son, Bruce White (Rebecca) of Orange, TX; grandchildren, Erika White of Beaumont, TX, Cortney Campbell of Dewyville, TX; Brandy White of Orange, TX, Paige Wilson of Twenty Nine Palms, CA, Bruce White II of Orange, TX, Roger McCarty II of Beaumont, TX, Trey McCarty of Orange, TX, B.A. Scott McCarty of Orange, TX; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Campbell, Easton LaFleur, Corbin LeFleur, Gunter Wilson, Wimberleigh LeFleur, Abram Wilson, Braxton McCarty, Gannon McCarty, Jax McCarty; sister, Elvera Necaise of Pass Christian; brother, Renelder Ladner of Pass Christian; his special nieces who loved and adored him, Wanda (Robert) Cole, Priscilla (Harold) Crossgrove and great-niece, Kaitlyn Crossgrove; numerous other nieces and nephews; also his beloved companion Cocoa.
