Wayne Reed

Arnold “Wayne” Reed, a resident of Ocean Springs, MS., passed away on May 4, 2026, in Long Beach, MS.

Known to his friends and family as Wayne, he grew up in the St. Martin community but was a graduate of DIberville High School. Wayne enjoyed fishing watching sports, cooking and playing with his grandbabies.

Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, JoAnn Reed; his children, Wayne (Susan) Reed, and Steve and (Tiffany) Reed; his siblings, Bobby Reed, Donnie (Clara) Reed, Richard (Becky) Reed, and Marion (James) Nichols; his grandchildren, Tiffany (Randall) Lauhoff, Ashley (Bryan) Gibson, Katie (Jacob) Reed, Tyler Reed, and Brandon Reed; and his 5 great grandchildren, Briley, McLelland, Stella Barlow, Elsie Gibson, Henry Wheaton, and Lainey Barlow; as well as a host of nephews, nieces other relatives and dear friends.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Speedy Rettig and Don Balius for their efforts and care during his final fishing trip.

A memorial service celebrating Wayne will be held on Saturday, May 9th, 2026, beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the home of his son and daughter in law, Steve and Tiffany Reed. If directions are needed, please reach out to any immediate family member.
