Wayne Ray

Wayne Ray, age 70, of Long Beach, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, September 17, 2012, in Gulfport.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Grady and Vera Ray, a sister, Bobbie Barnett, and a brother, Dan Ray, Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Dee Dee Ray, his children, Kim and Dale Marmalich, and Debbie and Don Brandon, grandsons, Dustin (Hanna) Marmalich, and Tyler Brandon, 1 great-grandchild, Isaac Jeansonne, his brothers, Floyd (Joyce) Ray and Spunky (Liz) Ray, and numerous other relatives and friends.
Mr. Wayne was a lifelong resident of Long Beach and he owned and operated Sun Ray Lawn Care or Pool Service. He was a dedicated member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church and he loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, sports enthusiasts, fisherman and an all around good man! He was a ""Man's Man!"" Mr. Wayne worked hard, played hard, and loved harder!
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2 pm Wednesday, September 19, 2012, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, Long Beach. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the mass.
Interment will be in Long Beach City Cemetery.
