Wayne Anthony LaScola

Wayne Anthony LaScola, age 84, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, December 7, 2025.

Mr. LaScola was a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, and a longtime resident of Pass Christian, Mississippi.

Wayne is preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years, Mrs. Linda Ann Phillips LaScola; his parents, Rufus Alonzo LaScola and Helen Antoinette Mangiaracina LaScola.

He is survived by his loving daughters, Kerrie Young (Patrick Sr.), and Jeannine Gallagher (Joseph). He also cherished his brother, Donald LaScola (Wanda). Wayne was a proud grandfather to Kristine Young Bordelon (Josh), Patrick Young, Jr., Jamie Young Shields (Trey), Steven Young, Jr. (Kelly), Leigh Anne Gallagher (Sam Black), and Kacie Gallagher. He was blessed with great-grandchildren—Hailey, Harper, and Beaux Bordelon, Nova Leigh and Patrick Young III, Jace W. and Emeri Kate Shields, Ethan W. and Jantzen Young.

Throughout his life, Wayne found great joy in his family, especially in spending time with his grandchildren. He faced his final moments surrounded by his loving family, a testament to the bonds he cherished.

His legacy of love will endure through his family and community, who will hold dear the memories they shared.
