Warner H. "Bud" Stewart

Warner ""Bud"" Stewart, Jr. , 79, of Gulfport, Mississippi, passed away October 5, 2015, in Gulfport, Mississippi. He was born on February 24, 1936, in Stockton, California.
He served in the Air Force and Air National Guard for a total of over 20 years and finished his career in electronics with the Naval Oceanographic Department at a spry age of 56. Bud loved all things nature from gardening and landscaping to hunting, fishing, and camping in the great outdoors. Bud got to see much of the world, and settled in Gulfport, Mississippi, which has been his home for the last 50 years.
Warner's survivors include his wife of 55 years, Sandra Stewart; his two sons, Charles Stewart and Dennis (Becky) Stewart; and granddaughters, Brandi, Savannah, and Victoria. He was preceded in death by his parents, Warner and Edna Stewart; his stepmother, Mary Stewart; and his aunt and uncle, Hack and Melba Kirkpatrick.
Family will be having a memorial service at Lynn Meadows Discovery Center on Tuesday, October 13, 2015, from 1:00PM to 2:45PM. In Lieu of flowers the family would prefer donations be sent to the Lynn Meadows Discovery Center.
