Walter “Wally” Phillip White, age 71, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, in Laurel, MS.

Wally was born in Washington, D.C., and later made the Mississippi Gulf Coast his home. He lived in Long Beach for 47 years and resided at South Mississippi Regional Center (SMRC) in Long Beach, where they took excellent care of him. He most recently moved to Ellisville, where he resided briefly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Philip White and Rosemary White.

Wally is survived by his sisters, Linda Olsen and Melanie White; and his nephew Raymond C. Crawford. 

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, with visitation starting at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 2090 Pass Rd. Biloxi, MS 39531. Interment will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Biloxi National Cemetery, 400 Veterans Ave. Biloxi, MS 39531.
