Graham, NC

Scott Embry, a cherished member of his family and community, departed this life peacefully on April 22, 2025, at the age of 87, in Graham, North Carolina. Born on November 17, 1937, in Dundee, Mississippi, Scott was a devoted husband, father, brother, and granddaddy, whose kindness and generosity touched the lives of all who knew him. He always helped others and talked to anyone who would listen.

An adventurer at heart, Scott loved the outdoors, traveling, riding his bicycle or motorcycle, working on projects, or tending to his tractor. He found utmost joy in spoiling his beloved grandson, Ayden, and creating countless memories that will be treasured forever.

As he approached the end of his life's journey, Scott was blessed to be surrounded by the love of his family, including his daughter, Rebekah, his grandson, Ayden, and his son-in-law, Jonathan. The family takes solace in knowing that Scott has been reunited with his beloved wife, Carol, and has found peace in the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Scott is also survived by his sister, Sarah Cospelich, and brother, Jim Embry. He was predeceased by his parents, S.P. and Maurine Embry, as well as his brother, Joel Embry, and sister, Virginia McDavid.

As we honor the remarkable life of Scott Embry, we remember a man of kindness, generosity, and love. His legacy will continue to thrive in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him, and he will be deeply missed but cherished forever.

Services will be held on a later date.
