Wallace W. Wescovich

Wallace Wescovich, age 87, a beloved figure of Biloxi, MS, sadly left our world on March 31, 2025, after a life richly lived in service and kindness.

Wallace was preceded in death by his mother, Louise Soujon Wescovich; his father, Vincent “Johnny” Wescovich; his brothers, Alton “Son” Wescovich, Vincent Douglas Wescovich, Roland Wescovich, Sr.; his sisters, Lorraine Murrell and Judy Wescovich.

Known as a beloved father, husband, and grandfather, he is survived by his wife of 67 years, Myrna DeGeorge Wescovich; his daughter, Marion Lynn Husser and her husband, Colden H. Husser; his grandchildren, Justin Sean Diaz, Summer Nacole Knesal (Jarrod), Hailey Daniell Lopez and husband, Dakota Lane Husser (Ashley); and Montana Ciara Husser (Corey); his great grandchildren, Lexus Jayden Parish, Layton Kane Dipprey, Laken Lane Dipprey, Atlas Lane Husser, Asher Brooks Knesal, Luna Kyah Lopez, and Aurora Adeline Husser; Joey Wescovich; and many other family members, nieces and nephews.

Wallace was a native of Biloxi, Mississippi, he was an Army veteran and served during the Korean War. Wallace retired as a Major with the Biloxi Police Department, graduated from the FBI Academy, he also served as Constable Beat 5 Biloxi and retired from the Navy CB Base Gulfport. Wallace was a member of the police association, (M.L.E.O.A), Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the NRA.

Wallace was a beacon of light and hope in our family, touching our lives through love and kindness. He will be truly missed and never forgotten.

The family would like to thank the hospice staff for their kindness and caring through these times.

The Graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Biloxi National Cemetery, 400 Veterans Ave. Biloxi, MS.  The procession will leave from Riemann Family Funeral Home to Biloxi National Cemetery at 1:00 p.m.
