Wallace Reed "W.R." Mills, age 86 and a resident of Necaise Crossing in Hancock County, passed away Sunday, October 8, 2017 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg.
W.R. was a native of Brookhaven, MS and was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in North Korea. He was a mechanic and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
W.R. was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Dorothy Lee Cuevas Mills and his daughter, Cathy Mills. Survivors include his children, Jack R. Mills, Donna L. Ladner and Michael C. Mills; 15 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank everyone for the love and support during this difficult time.
A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 13, 2017 at Necaise Crossing Cemetery.
