Saucier

Vivian Ann Griffin, a cherished wife, devoted mother, and beloved grandmother, peacefully departed this world on June 1, 2025, in Saucier, Mississippi. She was born on October 7, 1951, to Ray and Jewel Herring and from that moment onward, her life would blossom into a tapestry woven with love, faith, and joy.

Vivian was known to many as a dedicated housewife who cherished the home she built alongside her loving husband, Franklin Earl Griffin, with whom she shared 45 beautiful years of marriage. Their bond was a testament to commitment and love that flourished through the ups and downs of life.

She was more than just a homemaker; Vivian embraced education with a High School Diploma and pursued some college studies, embodying the spirit of growth and learning. While her formal education paved a modest path, her true wealth was reflected in the lives she touched and the hearts she warmed.

Vivian brought vibrant energy to her family, immersing herself in the joys of life. She had a profound love for basketball, softball, and swimming, often seen with a smile on her face while engaging in these activities. More than her hobbies, it was her steadfast faith in God that guided her through life. Vivian possessed a deep, abiding love for her Creator, and this faith infused strength into all that she did.

Her legacy continues through her beloved children: Angela Steele, Dakota Steele, Belinda Riser, Jason Riser, Tyree Griffin, Tonya Griffin, Charity Mezzell, Matt Mezzell, Earl Griffin Jr., and Trish Griffin. Each child carries a piece of her spirit, reflecting her kindness and nurturing nature.

Vivian's love radiated outwards to her grandchildren: Austin, Alexis, Emily, Elisia, Lucas, Dannyce, Christopher, Taedyn, Madison, Jayden, Tanner, and Taylyn. As a grandmother, she provided warmth, wisdom, and unwavering support, seamlessly weaving moments of joy into their lives. The love she shared extended even further to her great-grandchildren: Sarah, Tyler, Theo, Lewis, Ajax, Enoch, and Bella, who will always remember the lady who showered them with affection.

She is also survived by her loving brother, Mitch Herring, and her sister, Shelia Borque, who will carry forward the beautiful memories of their shared youth and family gatherings.

Though we know that you are walking with God now, and you are happy, dear Vivian, you will forever be deeply loved and missed by all who had the honor of knowing you. Your life was a radiant light, and your absence leaves a profound void within our hearts. May you rest in eternal peace.
