She and her husband, Robert ""Bob,"" were members of St. Linus Catholic Church in Dearborn Heights for over 50 years. She was a devout Catholic, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, spirited Detroit Tigers fan, and she easily jumped on the New Orleans Saints bandwagon after moving to the South. She formerly worked part-time as a proof reader at the Detroit News and Dearborn Press and Guide.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Percha; her parents, Frances and Anthony Kot; and her two brothers, Joseph and Walter Kot.
She is survived by her son, Robert A. (wife, Linda) Percha and their children, Bethany and Steven; her daughter, Kathie S. (husband, Mike) Flouer and their children, Christopher, Bradley, and Hayley Niehaus, Eric and Amanda Spence, Ryan (wife, Charisa) Flouer, LCPL Jason Flouer and Benjamin Flouer.
Virginia lived a simple, prayerful life centered around her family, children, and grandchildren. She was blessed with life-long friends (AHU!). She and her husband were members of the St. Linus and Dearborn Heights Berwyn Senior Center where they volunteered their time to meals on wheels, the gift shop, funeral lunches, and various festivals. Virginia was extremely talented with her hands. Her crafts and crocheted afghans were coveted prizes for many, many years at St. Linus' Fall Festivals.
