Virgie Necaise Hoda

Virgie Necaise Hoda, age 90, passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2013 in Diamondhead at Woodland Village Nursing Center.
Mrs. Hoda was a loving wife and mother. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Gulfport. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and was a fantastic cook.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Rosala Niolet Necaise; her husband and the love of her life, Clarence P. Hoda; her brothers, Eric, Clifton and Elvin Necaise; and her sisters, Mildred Spiers and Vivian Ladner.
Survivors include her daughter, Karen Gaiennie and husband Chip; many nieces and nephews; and special nieces, Janell Wilson and Margie Dedeaux.
The family would like to express their gratitude to her nurse Ms. Soloman and the entire Woodland Village staff; and Paul and Patrick with Odyssey Hospice.
Visitation will be from 12 Noon until 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 2, 2013 at St. John Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2:00 p.m.
