Vincent Dennis Mitchell

Vincent Dennis Mitchell, age 73, of Saucier, passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2016.
Mr. Mitchell proudly served his country and retired from the United States Army National Guard after more than twenty years of service. After retiring from the Special Forces, he was an appliance and air conditioner repairman as well as a tech man at Sun Coast Speedway and Hattiesburg Raceway. He enjoyed car shows, hotrods, all types of motor racing, computers, guns, skydiving, fixing anything he could, and learning to speak Italian. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and ""Paw Paw."" In his family's eyes he was the man of the year his entire life. He was a man of integrity that always did the right thing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor Emanuel ""Barney"" Mitchell and Audrey Belle Collins Dombrowski and Carl J. ""Ski"" Dombrowski ; his son, Keith Mitchell; and an infant sister, Romaine Mitchell.
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Pat Mitchell of Saucier; son, Tony Mitchell (Missy) of Gulfport; grandchildren, Conner Mitchell and Baylee Ridgedell; siblings, John Mitchell (Linda) of Diamondhead, Eugene Mitchell (Diane) of Gulfport, Vic Mitchell (Darlene) of Morgan City, LA, Lorraine Davenport (Jim) of Valley, NE, and Tommy Mitchell (Kathy) of Gulfport; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, November 15, 2016, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. Friends may visit two hours prior.
Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery with full military honors rendered by the United States Army.
