Veronica "Vickie" Sue Patrick, age 81, of Vancleave, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2026.

Vickie was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose greatest joy was her family. Veronica found joy in life's simple pleasures. She treasured spending time with her family, delighting in the hummingbirds that visited her home, and tending to her gardens. Those quiet moments brought her great happiness and reflected the warmth and gentle spirit she shared with those around her. Her kindness, unwavering love, and gentle nature will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Buford Ellison and Beulah Ellison; her brother, Richard Ellison; her sister, Grace Modale; and her daughter-in-law, Sandra Lalley.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 42 years, George Elrich Patrick; her children, Charles Andrew Lalley (Pamela), Richard Lalley, and Daniel Lalley (Elizabeth); her grandchildren, Brandy Johnson (Wade), Darren Lalley (Cannon), Charles “AJ” Lalley (Stacey), and Kayla Pugh (Landon); two great-grandchildren; her siblings, Vernon (Betty) Simms, Connie (Tony) Torres, and Mary (John) Odom; and many extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.
