Verna Ladner

Verna Mae Ladner, age 76, of Lizana, crossed The River Jordan and entered eternal life at 9:00am on April 25, 2021 at her home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Verina Cameron; her children, Vivian Ladner, Leonard Ladner and Samuel Joseph Ladner; siblings, Geraldine Necaise, Bernice Ladner, Stanley Cameron, Jr., Charlene Cameron and Barbara Necaise

Verna is survived by her husband of 57 years, Reginald Joseph Ladner; her children, Fletcher (Marti) Ladner and Tina (Jeremy) Sexton; grandchildren, Tyler (Sarah) Ladner, Ashlyn Ladner, Jacob Sexton, Rece Ladner; and siblings, Gerald Cameron, Ernest Cameron, and Elizabeth Ann Byrd.

Verna Mae was a long time resident of Lizana, MS and a parishioner of St. Ann's Catholic Church. Her love for Jesus was only matched by her love for her husband, Reginald, her children, and her grandchildren.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln-DeLisle Road, Pass Christian. The funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, April 28, 2021, at Saint Ann Catholic Church, Lizana. Burial will follow in Wolf River Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that any donations be made to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital.
