Verlin Booty

Verlin Willie Booty, age 83, of Gulfport, passed away October 16, 2014.
Mr. Booty was a native of Louisiana and was a retired TSgt from the United States Air Force. He served in the Korean War. He will be remembered for his love of the outdoors and his passion for turkey hunting.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jenkins Booty; and his parents, Homer Joseph and Fay Curtrer Booty.
He is survived by his siblings, Lindsey Newton Booty (Joann) of Amite, LA; Alton Ray Booty (Dolly) of San Antonio, TX, Dennis Booty (Juanita) of Walker, LA, Dois Young of Kentwood, LA, and Betty Simpson (Bobby) of Kentwood, LA; granddaughter, Jodi Roller of Bentonville, AR; and great-granddaughter, Breannah Martin.
Burial will be at Biloxi National Cemetery on Wednesday, October 22, 2014, at 1:30 p.m.
