Vera Lee Acuff

Vera Lee Acuff, age 88 of Gulfport, passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 50 years, Bob Acuff; her 4 brothers; and her 4 sisters.

Vera is survived by her children, Cecil H. Acuff (Norma) and Russell G. Acuff; grandchildren, Christopher Acuff (Kirsten), Tiffany Freeman (Ellery), Meagan Black (Stephen) and Ashleigh Kuhn (Nic); and great grandchildren, Hunter, Hudson, and Holden Acuff, Grayson Freeman, Kinley, Cole, Cade, Stone, Sawyer Kuhn, Harper Black and Easton Black.

Vera was a devoted wife to a 21 year Air Force Veteran. She was a stay at home mom. Vera loved to sew in her younger years, loved to travel, and loved her grandkids! She was a long time member of Grace Memorial Baptist Church. She loved and trusted the Lord, Jesus Christ.
