Vanessa Destiny Mauffray

Vanessa Destiny Mauffray, 19, of Kiln, MS, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday, June 25, 2016. She was a loving daughter, a baby sister, the best aunt, and a selfless friend. She had a kind and free spirit that spread light wherever she went. Even on the darkest days, she was a ray of sunshine to those she knew and even those she didn't. She will be remembered as an angel on Earth. She was a graduate of Hancock High School and resided in Lakeshore, MS. She was pursuing a degree in Surgical Technology. She always knew she wanted to be able to help others.
She is survived by her mother, Darlene (Lonnie) Deschamp, father, Stacy (Courtney) Mauffray, sister, Victoria McKinley, brother, Victor Mauffray, nephew, Cade McKinley, maternal grandmother, Veda Dussor, paternal grandmother, Sandra Edwards, and boyfriend, Ryan Necaise.
She is preceded in death by her aunt, Kim McKinley.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2016 from 6-9PM at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln-Delisle Rd., Pass Christian. The service will be held on Friday, July 1, 2016 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1911 McLaurin St. Waveland, MS, and beginning at 10am. Burial will follow in Bayou LaCroix Cemetery in Bay St. Louis, MS.
