Valerie Michelle Brown

Valerie Michelle Brown, age 56, of Wewahitchka, FL, passed away on July 29, 2025.

Ms. Brown was a native of Kansas City, MO and was born to George Stanley and Patty Fenstermaker Brown. Growing up in Kansas City, she was an avid Chiefs fan teaching her daughter, “Raider Hater”, at a young age. She worked in the Casino industry for many years which is what brought she and her family to the coast. In that role, it allowed her to make connections with people and interact with them. Watching them smile brought a smile to her face. She loved going to the beach and living on the coast. She spent time walking the beach and enjoying the small things in life. She worked hard to support her family and was dedicated to her daughter and grandchildren. She loved spending time with them.

In her younger years, she was a member of a bowling league with her dad, and she became very good at darts, which she enjoyed throughout her life. She enjoyed learning new things and experiencing new things.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her daughter, Cassandra “Kacie” Michelle Brown; her bonus daughter, Samantha Holland; grandchildren, Kyle Joesph Brown, Alex Joan Beard, and Charlie Buckhalter; siblings, Cynthia Atchley (Robert), Patricia Powell, and Stephanie Tesnow (Jeremiah); and her companion, Arthur D. (Art) McMaster, III.

Private family services will be held at a later time.

Riemann Family Funeral Home, Gulfport, is serving the Brown family.
