Tyler James Cooke of Biloxi, made his journey to Heaven on 15 August 2017 in Gulfport.
He was born 13 December 2000 at Garden Park Hospital, Gulfport to Kevin and Crystal (Sweeney) Cooke.
Tyler lived his entire life on the Gulf Coast, attending elementary schools in Gulfport, and presently was a Junior at Biloxi High School. He was a typical 16 year old in many ways...a great kid who wrestled with or dueled at video games against his father and brother, gave his mother tremendous hugs, teased his sisters, and had a ready smile for everyone. He had been a member of Biloxi High Junior Varsity football previously as well as a member of Ramsay Hills Baptist Church.
Tyler's sudden loss has devastated his family and friends. And he will be very much missed by all who knew and loved him.
Tyler is survived by his parents (father) Kevin and April (Lamb) Cooke and (mother) Crystal (Sweeney) Cooke and fiancé Fred Cole; his sisters Jessica and Skyleigh Cooke as well as sister Sierra Frazier; his brother Tristen Frazier, and soon to be brothers Gabriel and Blake Cole, all of Biloxi. He is also survived by uncles Thomas (Lisa) Cooke of Waveland and David Sweeney of Gulfport; his aunt April Sweeney of Biloxi; his cousins Juliana, Noah, Charlie, Andrew and Carter Cooke; and Lorraine, "Lil" Vic and Michael Sweeney; by his grandfather Victor Sweeney, grandmothers Robin (Johnson) Sweeney and Phyllis (Owens) Dunkerson; by his grandparents Thomas and Patricia (Gros) Cooke of Gulfport; great grandparents Shirley (Walker) and Dan Sweeney of Virginia; and many other extended family not listed.
A Celebration of his Life will be held on Sunday, August 20, 2017 at 4:00 PM with a visitation for family and friends from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi. Following the service, a Balloon Release will be held to honor his life.
On Monday, August 21, 2017, a procession will leave the funeral home at 1:00 PM for a 1:30 PM graveside service at Biloxi National Cemetery. A Reception for family and friends will follow at 2:30 PM at the Biloxi Visitor's Center.
