Trix Johnson

Joyce "Trix" Twickler Johnson, age 88, of Gulfport, passed away on December 23, 2017.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Lloyd Johnson; her parents; 2 sisters, Catherine Voorhies and Myrtle Signorelli.
Survivors include her daughter, Sherryl Webster (Bob); 2 grandchildren, Melissa Webster and John Webster; nieces, nephew, and other relatives and friends.
She was a native of New Orleans and lived in Long Beach most of her life.  Mrs. Trix was faithful member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church and she volunteered at the MS Gulf Coast Tourism Commission, the American Red Cross, and was a Girl Scout leader for several years.   She and her husband traveled the United States in their motor home and she enjoyed gardening.  Mrs. Trix had a beautiful smile and a loving, kind heart.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am on Friday, December 29, 2017, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 720 E Beach Blvd, Long Beach.  Visitation will be from 10 - 11 in the church.
Memorials may be sent to St. Thomas Catholic Church or the American Cancer Society.
