Trayc Paul Moran was an inspiration, not just through his battle with cancer, but also through the time he spent as the most faithful brother, son, and friend. His light shined bright as a devout Child of God. Trayc was proud to be a senior at Hancock High School and #19 on the baseball field. He fought Ewing’s Sarcoma everyday for four and a half years with tremendous strength and courage. Trayc went to be with the Lord on April 10, 2026 sleeping peacefully in his home surrounded by loved ones. His battle has been won as he is now healed, pain free, walking the streets of gold with his glove on one hand and a ball in the other.
Trayc was the best big brother to Trayvn and Landre Moran, who also served as his throwing partners as well as his partners in crime and devoted little brother to Landen Moran. He is especially survived by his mom, Felicia Moran, and dad, Eugene Moran, who were his pillars of strength. Trayc is also survived by his grandparents, Louis Hoffman (Mary), Shaynon Hoffman, Becky Hulbert Lee Moran and Phyllis Moran Bohan, and godmother Michelle Dedeaux (Rocky). In addition, he is also survived by multiple aunts, uncles, and cousins who were also like siblings to him, as well as his teammates and coaches he met throughout his baseball career.
Trayc is preceded by great grandparents, Betty Mae and Pyburn “Smokey” Ladner, Bill and Beverly Hoffman, and Lottie Moran, grandfather Paul Robert Moran, pyran Crockett Woodcock, and uncle Wayne Ladner.
