Travis Scott Ladner

Travis Scott Ladner, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at his residence in Pass Christian, Mississippi. Born on June 8, 1966, Travis dedicated his life to his family and career, becoming a respected driver with Knight Transportation, where he was nearing the remarkable milestone of one million miles.

A proud graduate of Harrison Central High School, Class of 1984, Travis was known for his adventurous spirit and love for the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, often sharing these cherished moments with his wife, Janet Denise Ladner, whom he married 37 years ago. Together, they traveled the country, creating unforgettable memories alongside their beloved dogs, Kodi and Bo.

Travis's family was always the center of his world. He is survived by his devoted wife, Denise, and their four children: Erin Denise Amacker and her husband Tyler, Casey Scott Ladner and his wife Haley, Nicholas Ryan Ladner and his wife Natalie, and Waylon Bryant Ladner and his wife Courtney. His legacy will continue through his grandchildren, Kaden, Alivia, Hayden, Caselyn, Bryson, Layla, and Levi, who will forever cherish the moments they spent with their grandpa.

He is also remembered by his father, Elton "Cotton" Ladner and his siblings, Jeffrey Ladner, Kitzie Angela Necaise, and Sheryl Ann Levron, all of whom shared in his love and laughter throughout their lives.

Travis's courageous battle with cancer was made a little easier through the care and support provided by St. Joseph's Hospice, with a special thank you to Cassondra Lawless, whose dedication touched both Travis and his family deeply.

Preceding him in death are his mother, Sherilyne Fay Ladner, and his grandparents, who welcomed him into their arms as he departed from this world.

Travis Scott Ladner leaves behind countless memories filled with love, laughter, and adventures, forever etched in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends, who are grateful for the time they had with him and the indelible mark he left on their lives.

The family will have a Celebration of Life Gathering at a later date. Riemann Family Funeral Home, Pass Christian, is proudly serving the family.  Please sign the online guestbook, and share memories & photos at www.riemannfamily.com
