Tommy White, age 79, of Gulfport, MS, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2017, at his residence.
Tommy will be remembered by many as a retired Senior Chief in the United States Navy. Tommy served our country from May 1956 until May 1980. He served three tours of duty in South Vietnam and retired from the City of Gulfport Water Department where he worked from 1980-2004.
Tommy was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie White; daughter, Theresa Dannemueller; two sisters, Lorene Dillard and Irene Bean; two brothers, Martin White and Jackie White; and his mother, Tessie White.
He is survived by his children, Christopher White (Kathryn) and Angela Keller (Tim); brother, Pete White; grandchildren, Patrick Peterman, Tara Ruiz, Brittney Ruiz, Elizabeth White, Madeline White; and three great grandchildren, Colin Ruiz, William Harrison, and Athena Peterman.
The family would like to express their appreciation to the St. Joseph's Hospice Team.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2017, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, at 10:00 a.m. with military honors rendered by the U.S. Navy Honor Guard. Visitation will be held one hour prior.
