Timothy Charles "Tim" Wagner, age 58, a native of Gulfport and a resident of Long Beach, passed away on September 8, 2017 in Long Beach, MS.
He is preceded in death by his loving parents, Gordon C. and LaVerne C. Wagner.
He leaves behind his sister, Sharon Street, and brother, Jeffrey Wagner (Jean); five nephews, Brian Jones, Tony Street, Travis Street, James A. Wagner (Lindsey), Jonathan M. Wagner (Laura); and two nieces, Jennifer E. Vinot (Warren) and Bonnie Hines.
Tim was a high school graduate and practiced many trades during his lifetime. He was a gemologist for Elliot Jewelry, merchant seaman on various supply vessels and ocean-going tankers, and a certified crane operator. Tim also held the position of 2nd cook on supertanker vessels.
He was an avid fisherman, music lover, and an old movie buff. He was deeply religious and had attended Peace Lutheran Church in Slidell, LA. Tim had a giving spirit and was loved and known by many.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, September 25, 2017 from 12 - 2 PM at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, MS. The funeral service will be held at 2 PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
Immediately following the services, the family invites friends to Ken Combs Pier, 96 Courthouse Rd, Gulfport, MS, where a further commemoration of Tim's life will be held.
