Thomas Waylon Seamwright, born January 18, 1980, in High Point, North Carolina, passed away on April 10, 2026, in Picayune, Mississippi. Raised and residing in Hancock County, MS, Thomas built a life defined by dedication to his family and craft. He was a skilled machinist at Koenig Stainless Industries, where he was known for his passion in working with his hands, creating and building with care and precision.
Thomas was a proud grandfather and cherished his role as an outstanding provider. His love for his work and family stood at the center of his life. Those who knew him remember a man who took great pride in both his craftsmanship and his family bonds.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 28 years, Shantel Seawright, and their children: Kelton Seawright, Jesse Berry, and Cody Berry. Thomas’s siblings who remain with us include Wayne Seawright (Mayra), Joe Bilbo (Tonya Rushing Bilbo), Juliet Bilbo Heardon, Vicki Ladner, Randy Bilbo, Bridget Bilbo, David McGill, and Robert McMillian. He also leaves behind grandchildren Karter Seawright and Klaire Hubler, along with several nieces and nephews who carry on his loving legacy. His bosses, Paul Koenig (Amy) and Edna Koenig, also remember him fondly.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Judith Schwartz and Otis Bilbo, as well as his brother Daniel Seawright.
A visitation will be held on April 17, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Calahoula Missionary Baptist Church, located at 22140 MS043, Picayune, MS 39466. Friends and loved ones are invited to gather and celebrate the life of a man who left a lasting mark through both his family and his craftsmanship.
Thomas Waylon Seamwright’s life was one of quiet strength and heartfelt dedication. He will be missed but lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege to know him.
