Thomas Parker

Thomas Robert Parker, age 87, resident of Ocean Springs, passed away on August 31, 2021.

Mr. Parker, a native of Biloxi, retired from Ingalls Shipbuilding after a 30 year long career.  He was a member of the McLeod Masonic Temple of Ocean Springs. He loved spending time with family and doing carpentry in his spare time.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Bert and Ethel Parker; his brother, Wilburn Parker; and sister, Juanita Lamey.

He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Ola Lee Parker; his children, Thomas Parker (Sherrie), Robert Parker (Laurie), Sammy Parker (Sandra), Linda Ewing (Randall), and Patricia Fox (James); ten grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren; multiple nieces, nephews relatives and friends.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Mrs. Donna, from the Hospice of Light, for her loving and comforting care of Thomas.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 3, 2021, at 5:00 pm, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd., West Jackson County.  Friends may visit one hour prior. Interment will follow in Cruthirds Cemetery.
