Thomas Gordon

Thomas Whitney Gordon, III, age 76, of Saucier, MS was called to his heavenly home in the presence of his family on March 4, 2013
He was born in New Orleans, LA in 1936, graduated from Fortier High School, attended LSU where he was in the US Army ROTC, and graduated from Tulane University. He was a member of the US Army Reserve where he attained the rank of Staff Sergeant. Thomas was also a Magna Charta Baron, a member of the Ocean Springs City Planning Commission, President of the Morgan City, LA Kiwanis Club and was active in the Elks Club. He was recently baptized into the Catholic Church and attended mass at St. Ann Catholic Church.
Thomas was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 51 years, Claire Kane Gordon, his mother Christine Montgomery Gordon and his father Thomas Whitney Gordon, Jr.
He is survived by his children: Cameron Gregory Gordon, Keith Michael Gordon, and Shannon Leigh Gordon Coen; his 6 grandchildren: Christopher Rhett Gordon, Andrew Zachary Gordon, Zackary Paul Fickes, Aidan Read Gordon, Riley Elizabeth Coen, Gavin Patrick Coen; and his brothers: Frederick Montgomery Gordon and Dr. Robert Allen Gordon.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2013 from 10 - 11 am at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, MS 39503. A prayer service will be held at 11 am in the funeral home chapel.
