Thomas Waldo Davis, Jr., 71, a resident of Biloxi, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2017.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Waldo Davis, Sr. and Mildred Jones Davis; his sisters, Linda Sue Posladek and Cheryl Jade Tiblier; and his granddaughter, Lilly Ann Davis.
He is survived by his children, Michelle Cornett, Charles Michael Dwayne Davis, Dean (Sally) Davis-Nitz, Janie (Bryan) Kampf, and Joel (Laura) Davis; his siblings: Mary Davis, Doranna (Steve) Loughlin, and Fred (Debbie) Davis; his grandchildren: Brittany (Sean), Patrick, Abigayle, Alexander, Kennedy, Keely, Hayley, and Lexi; great-grandchildren: Carson, Mia, and Oliver; brothers-in-law: Ronald Posladek and Gordon Tiblier; and nieces and nephews, Freddy, Willie, Timmy (Hayley), Michael, BG, Laurie, Justin, and many more who loved him.
Mr. Davis was a US Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War with the rank of Private First Class, receiving the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with one Star, and the Vietnam Campaign Medal. Semper Fi! He was employed by ODECO. He was a member of the VFW, Elks, Moose, and a local pool league. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, golfing, coin and stamp collecting, and mostly billiards.
The children would like to give special thanks to Uncle Freddy for all his care and assistance.
Friends are invited to visit from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi, MS. A graveside service will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to your local Disabled American Veterans Organization.
