Thomas Conklin

PO1 Thomas Conklin, U.S. Navy, Ret, age 89, of Biloxi, passed away on February 7, 2019.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Conklin; his mother, Louise Seeman,; a brother, Charles Conklin; and a sister, Mary Schultz.
Survivors include his wife, Dina Conklin; a daughter, Amelia Stockbridge (Jimmy); a sister, Charlene; 2 grandchildren, Kevin Stockbridge and Stephanie Schadrack (Chip); 2 great-grandchildren, Rebecca and William Schadrack; and other relatives and friends.
Mr. Conklin was a native of Chicago, and retired from the U.S. Navy after serving in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam.  After retirement, he worked as an auto mechanic in Biloxi and later worked as a mechanic at the state port.  He enjoyed collecting stamps and coins.
Visitation will be on Monday, February 11, 2019, from 8:30 - 9 am at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Rd., Biloxi.  A prayer service will be at 9 am in the funeral home chapel.  Interment will be in Biloxi National Cemetery.
