Thomas ""Tom"" V. Beaver, age 81 and a resident of Gulfport, died on Saturday, April 18, 2015, in Gulfport.
Mr. Beaver was a native of Scott County, MS and had been a resident of Gulfport since 1957. He served in the United States Army. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Gulfport where he was a Sunday School teacher. Mr. Beaver enjoyed camping, dancing, and wood working.
He was preceded in death by his parents Malvin & Vivian Beaver; and his first wife, Myrtle Beaver.
Mr. Beaver is survived by his wife, Maria Beaver; his sons, Rene Beaver, Rickey Beaver, Robert Beaver, and Randy Beaver; his daughter, Beverly Beaver Lynch; his brother, Mickey Beaver of Scott County; his stepdaughters, Irma Buchanan and Eddie Phillips; 15 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 8 step grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2015, at 2pm at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport. A time of gathering for family and friends will be held following the service from 2:30pm until 3:30pm. A private burial will be held.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to a missions organization of one's choice.
