Theresa D. Norman Parks

Theresa Darleen Norman Parks, passed away in her home on 7 February 2013. Theresa was born on January 4th, 1960 to the late Thomas and Elizabeth Norman in Virginia Beach, VA. Theresa blessed everyone she came in contact with. She worked several jobs on the Gulf Coast. She touched many lives whether it was bartending at the airport, serving customers at Keesler AFB or managing inventory at a retail store at the Beau Rivage. Theresa was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She liked helping others, shopping, trips to the beach but most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Ricky Norman of Gulfport, MS, and her grandsons Jayden and Christopher Hough.
She is survived by her husband, Joel Parks of Gulfport, MS; her children, Elizabeth J. O'Kane and husband John O'Kane of Washington, D.C. , David L. Hough, Jr. and his wife Michelle Hough of Diamondhead, MS and Arturo Maldonado, Jr of Biloxi, MS; step child, Shannon Parks; Brother David Norman of Sedro-Wooley, WA, sister Barbara Sierra of Atlanta, GA and brother Jerry Norman of Hattiesburg, MS; Sister-in-law Toni Parks Trumpler of Agusta, GA; Brother-in-law Robert Parks of Augusta, GA and Kurt Parks of Parkersburg, WV; Grandsons Ethan and Caleb O'Kane of Washington, DC; 4 nieces and 4 nephews.
A memorial service will be held at New Life Family Church at 362 Popps Ferry Rd, Biloxi, MS on 16 February 2013 from 12:00-3:00 p.m.
