Terry Allen Ostenson, age 69, of Biloxi, passed away on May 8, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones.
Terry was born in Muskegon, Michigan. He was in the U.S. Marine Corps. After serving in the Marines, he worked for Mississippi Power Company, retiring in 2015. Terry also worked at Hairston Express, Oceaneering, and Mooney Aircraft.
Terry spent most of his free time bowling and was a member of several leagues along the Mississippi Gulf Coast. His best game ever was when he bowled a 299, just one point from perfect. He loved his bowling family.
Terry was preceded in death by his mother, Gloria Hope Carlson; and his father, David Lee Ostenson. He is survived by his daughters, Christi Vukasin (Mario) and Shannon Knott (Michael); his siblings, Daniel Ostenson (Cecilia), Donald Ostenson (Cindi), Joni Smith (Steve), Susan Fetzko (Frank), and Theodore Ostenson (Blandina); his grandchildren Matea and Luka Vukasin, Annabelle and Austin Knott; his nieces, Susie, Melody, Raquel, Kimberly, Charlene, and Vallarie; his nephews, Daniel, Nathaniel, and Elijah; and his uncle Duane Ostenson (Pat).
He will always be remembered for being the best Daddy and Grampa, a faithful believer in Christ, an excellent listener, a proud Marine, a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan, an avid bowler and a generous person. He never forgot a name and always had a smile on his face.
