Terry Lee Cuevas

Terry Lee Cuevas, age 62, of the Kiln, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his parents Floyd and Catherine Cuevas; and sister, Carey Leonard.

Terry is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn Cuevas; daughter, Shana (Ben) Malley; son, Shane (Jessica) Cuevas; grandchildren, Shailyn, Brelyn, and Bentley Malley, Jadon, Julieanna, and Jazlyn Cuevas; siblings, Sandra Cuevas, Brenda (Ronnie) Ladner, and Michael (Bernadette) Cuevas; 1 godchild, Branson Cuevas; and many nieces and nephews.

Terry was an active outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing and running behind deer dogs with the boys. He loved late night horse shows and bailing hay on the hot sunny days. Terry cherished every moment being on the banks of the Wolf River with his wife, kids and grandchildren. He strived to spoil his granddaughters and taught his grandsons tough love.

Terry was a member of Sacred Heart Dedeaux Catholic Church. He retired from Ingall's Shipbuilding in 2022 after 22 years of dedicated service.

Terry was dearly loved by his family and friends. He will be deeply missed.

Visitation will be at Riemann Family Funeral Home, Pass Christian, Wednesday, September 9, 2026, 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM, with recitation of the Holy Rosary at 8:00 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Dedeaux, Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 11:00 AM, with visitation one hour prior at the church.  Interment is at Standard Sandhill Cemetery.
