Terri Downs

Terri Nyers Downs, age 63, passed away on January 24, 2017, in Ocean Springs, MS.
Terri is survived by her husband of 40 years, Charles R. Downs; her son, Chris; her daughter, Nicci (Matthew); her beloved grandchildren, whom she adored, Zander and Thuy�; her mother, Donna Nyers Clegg; her brothers, Jim, and Rick (Kim); and her faithful French Bulldog, CoCo.
She was preceded in death by her father, James J. Nyers, her grandparents, Elmer & Libby Wuerzburger, and Norman & Joyce Bullard.
Terri was born on March 14, 1953 in Indianapolis, IN. She graduated from Royal High School in Simi Valley, CA and from the University of Southern Mississippi with a degree in English.
Terri was a loving daughter, wife, mother, Nani, sister, aunt and friend. She enjoyed fishing, reading, spending time with her family and watching the Alabama Crimson Tide. Roll Tide Roll!!
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2017, 4:00-6:00 p.m. at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd. at Washington Ave, Ocean Springs. Memories may be shared at www.riemannfamily.com.
