In Loving Memory of

Teresa Renee Heal

December 3, 1965 – June 7, 2026

With heavy hearts and endless love, we celebrate the life of Teresa Renee Heal, born December 3, 1965, in Memphis, Tennessee and entered her heavenly home on June 7, 2026. Teresa spent her life sharing her love, laughter, kindness, compassion and faith with everyone who was fortunate enough to know her. Teresa was proceeded in death by her mother, Leona Manges, her father, Jerry Thompson, and her brother, Jerry Thompson, Jr.

Teresa’s greatest blessing in life was her family, especially her two beautiful daughters, Amanda Wright (Elijah Wright) and Dylan Heal, who she shared with their father, her forever plus one, Tony Heal. Her daughters were the light of her life, and she was extremely proud of them both. She loved spending quality time with them and watching them grow into the amazing women they have become. However, her biggest joy was becoming a grandmother to the apple of her eye, her sweet and loving granddaughter Valentina Wright, and anticipated the arrival of another precious granddaughter whom she loved already with all her heart. Although she accomplished so much in her life, nothing was as fulfilling to her as being a mother and grandmother.

As a lifelong learner, Teresa earned her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Phoenix and later obtained her Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of North Alabama. She believed in hard work, perseverance, and always doing her best. She was a role model to many.

Teresa had an angelic singing voice and a heart that was equally beautiful. She was always ready to help someone in need. Her advice was always warmly accepted. She loved her retail therapy-clothes and shoes were her passion, but collecting anything that involved her beloved giraffes was top on her list. She also loved listening to true crime court cases on her way to work. However, she especially loved spending time with her family and friends, particularly her best friend of 35 years, Gina Ali. Together they created countless memories throughout their annual travels, holiday celebrations, late-night conversations and endless laughter. Their friendship was a rare and beautiful bond built on loyalty, respect, love and decades of memories. She was a devoted and loving aunt to countless nieces and nephews. However, Teresa shared a special bond with Ethan, Evan, and Gianna Ali, whom she supported with unwavering love, encouragement, and guidance throughout their lives, and they will forever miss their “auntie T”.

And then there was Christmas!!!!

To say Teresa loved Christmas was an understatement. She lived and breathed the magic of the season. She adored Christmas lights, decorations, music, family gatherings, gift-giving, and every bit of joy that came with the holiday. Christmas wasn’t just her favorite time of year-it was part of who she was.

Teresa also had a wonderfully unexpected favorite song: “Crazy Train” by Ozzy Osbourne. It perfectly reflected her fun-loving personality and great sense of humor. While others may have expected a gentle hymn or love song, Teresa proudly embraced a little rock and roll. She loved life, loved to laugh, and never took herself too seriously. If heaven has a playlist, her family likes to imagine that “Crazy Train” is playing somewhere in the background while she’s singing along.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort knowing that Teresa’s love, laughter, faith, and beautiful spirit will continue to live on through her daughters, grandchildren, family and friends.

Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever remembered.

Friends are invited to join the family for visitation and services on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd., West Jackson County. Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., with the Funeral Service to follow at 10:00 a.m.
