Edna Gene ""Teena"" Watts, age 75, of Vancleave, passed away on October 5, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Earl Watts, infant daughter, Maria Grace Watts, her parents, Catherine Clark Williams and Eddie Williams.
Survivors include her children, Missy Watts, Karen (Tony) Glass, Gary (Terrie) Watts, and Bill (Samantha)Watts, a sister, Jacqueline Williams (Mike) Vlaming and a brother, Eddie Clark (Kathleen) Williams, 13 grandchildren, Lyndsay Mallette Bond, Melissa Mallette, Taylor Borries, Seth Borries, Chelsea Borries, Tristan Glass, London Glass, Hunter Watts, Blade Watts, Brooke Watts, Suzy Watts Carlisle, Michael Watts, and Cassie Watts, 6 great-grandchildren, Dylan Breland, Alena Williams, Parker Fairley, Braydon Scarborough, Jase Allen Dobbe, and Mya Carlisle, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Teena was valedictorian of her graduating class at Our Lady of Victories Catholic School in 1958 and she also attended the Meadows Draughan Business college in New Orleans. She enjoyed fishing, swimming, shooting sports, and an overall great love of sports, especially watching her children and grandchildren. Teena was active in the Catholic Church and recently attended St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Saturday at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, Ocean Springs. Visitation will be from 9:30 am - 10:30 am in the church.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date in Griffin Cemetery, Moss Point.
The family prefers memorials be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society.
