Teddy Joe Schonewitz, age 71, of Saucier, MS, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2023.
He was preceded in death by his parents, August and Ardie Mae Schonewitz; brothers, Henry Schonewitz, Billy Schonewitz, Ronnie Schonewitz, and Harold Schonewitz (Sonny); sister, Flora Hayes; sister-in-law, Virginia Schonewitz; and nephew, Lawerence Creed, Jr.
Teddy is survived by his loving care giver and niece, Peggy Murphy; sisters, Bernice Geiger and Mary Anne Creed; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, and great-great great nieces and nephews.
He loved fishing, drinking a few beers with his family and had a green thumb for gardening. Teddy loved his dogs and loved living life.
Visitation will be 1-2pm, Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Riemann Family Funeral Home, Gulfport. A funeral service will be after the visitation at 2pm. Interment is at Finley Cemetery.
