Tánna Jeanne Kendrick, 77, of Gulfport, Mississippi, passed away on April 20, 2026, at USA Hospital in Mobile, Alabama.

She was born on November 19, 1948, in Springfield, Illinois, and grew up in Virden, Illinois. Tánna attended Virden schools and was the eldest of six children.

Tánna had a smile that could light up a room. She loved living in Gulfport, especially being close to her granddaughter. She enjoyed the beach, spending time in the sun, and often said she was “solar powered.” She also loved Cruising the Coast, watching movies, listening to music, and dancing, often with her Dr Pepper nearby.

She was preceded in death by her father, Benjamin Kendrick; her mother, Nelda Rennie; her stepfather, John Rennie; and her brother, J.B. Rennie.

Tánna is survived by her son, Terry Boblitt; her daughter, Brittany (Collin) Miller; her granddaughter, Sadie Miller; and her four sisters, Teri (Frank) Musso, Sara Rennie, Cynda (Loy) Wrightsman, and Patti (Ed) Abbott. She is also survived by extended family members, Bobby and Brenda Chapman and family, along with several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Illinois.
