Susan Marie Brown

Susan Marie Brown, age 75, of Gulfport, Mississippi, passed away on September 2, 2025, in Gulfport.

Susan was born on March 9, 1950, in Benton Ridge, Hancock County, Ohio. She was a graduate of Liberty-Benton High School, Class of 1968, and also completed some college studies. She proudly served her country in the United States Army.

Susan was preceded in death by her loving husband, Harold Brown; her son, Thomas Brown; her brothers, John Lewis Kisseberth and Edward Dale Kisseberth; and her parents, Benjamin F. Kisseberth, Sr. and Mary Susan Kisseberth.

She is survived by her devoted son, John Brown of Gulfport; her brother, Benjamin F. Kisseberth, Jr. of Findlay, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.

Susan enjoyed the simple joys of life, especially working word search puzzles, which brought her comfort and happiness through the years. She will be remembered for her quiet strength, her resilience, and the love she carried for her family.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Coastal Health Care and Memorial Hospital for the care given to Susan during her illness, and to Riemann Family Funeral Homes for their compassionate assistance.

Susan was laid to rest at Biloxi National Cemetery in Biloxi, Mississippi.
