Mr. Stone Dossett, age 26, and a resident of Kiln, MS died on Sunday, June 17, 2007, in Kiln.
Mr. Dossett was born in Gulfport and was raised in the Catahoula and Kiln communities. He was a 1999 graduate of Hancock High School and attended Ole Miss and USM. He graduated from Pearl River Community College with a degree in Nursing. He was employed at Hancock Medical Center, where he was serving as an ICU registered nurse. He was avid hunter and golfer, and he enjoyed water sports and working on the family farm.
He will always be remembered for his jovial spirit and kindness that led him to never meet a stranger.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, B.L. Dossett and Sam Haas.
He is survived by his parents, Greg and Rise Haas Dossett of Kiln; grandmothers, Myrtis Dossett of Catahoula and Ruth Haas of Kiln; and by his beloved dog, Otis.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2007, at Catahoula Missionary Baptist Church where friends may visit from 11 am until service time at 12:00 noon. Burial will follow services in the church cemetery.
